Class X and XII CBSE Board Results of 2018 have set an all-time record for Indian Schools in Oman with highest percentage of high achievers setting another benchmark of excellence in academics.

Indian Schools in Oman outshone even the best of national results of Class XII with an overwhelmingly impressive pass percent of 98.69. In Class X results released on Tuesday, Indian Schools in Oman have achieved an incredible result of 100% pass.

The toppers in different streams of Class XII are as follows: Science – Aliva Das (98.6%), Vegi Manas (98.4%) and K.S. Suraaj (97.2%). Commerce – Jobin Jacob (96.4%), Shravani G, Arya Sudheer and Suhana Mohd (95.6%), Shreya Nair, Sandhra Jyothis and Sredha Suresh (95%). Humanities – Sneha Sarkar (96.4%), Akshaya C (96.2%) and Seta Teresa P (94.6%).

Class X toppers in Indian Schools in Oman are as follows: Madhumidha Rajesh (98.4%), Daya CM and Shirishti Jain (98.2%) and Medora Cyril James (98%).

Dr. Baby Sam Saamuel, Chairman – Board of Directors congratulated the students who have made their alma mater and parents proud with outstanding results. He lauded the unflinching support of schools that have conducted remedial classes for the academically weak students and made all efforts to set higher benchmark of success in the Board Exams.

Indian Schools do not put any restriction on admissions and every child who seeks admission finds a place irrespective of academic performance. Teachers make persistent efforts to enhance the academic levels of children by providing remedial and additional coaching on off days and evening hours. The ‘Gurukulam’ introduced in many of the Indian Schools in the interior regions have helped the students to perform well in their board exams. Children stayed in schools for almost a month before the board exams and the teachers meticulously monitored and assisted their studies day in and day out. This has certainly enhanced the confidence level of students and enabled them to come out in flying colours.

Indian Schools had a total number of 1598 students who appeared for Class XII and 2335 students who appeared for Class X examinations this year.
