CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION

The Central Board of Secondary Education is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by Union Government of India. Schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum. There are about twenty thousand CBSE affiliated schools all over the world. Most of the schools are in India; however, there are around 200 schools outside India which are affiliated to CBSE, of these the UAE is ranked first in the number of schools, followed by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Sultanate of Oman.
