Founded in July 1990 by Dr. P Mohamed Ali primarily for the children of the Indian expatriates in the Sultanate of Oman, Indian School Al Ghubra, located in the capital city of Muscat has over 3250 students. It is a private, independent, co-educational school, having classes from the Kindergarten to the Senior Secondary affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. There are 200 plus faculty members, 13 administrative expatriates and 31 Omani administrative staff.
