Indian school – Nizwa

Indian School Nizwa (ISN) was founded in 1990. Presently, the School strength has crossed 1500 with 71 teaching and 14 non-teaching staff. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India. ISN has classes from LKG to XII and imparts education in Science and Commerce streams in Sr. secondary level. English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry & Informatics Practices are the subjects offered for the science stream and English, Business Studies, Economics, Accountancy, Maths and Informatics Practices are offered to the Commerce stream. ISN has an international character by having students of 12 nationalities of Asia and Africa, majority being Indians. The school gives special attention to sports, field trips, debates, quizzes and music in addition to academics, which helps in developing an individual into a complete human being. The laboratories, library, playground, Multi-purpose court and provisions for indoor games like chess, caroms and table tennis give the students an opportunity to bring out their innate talents and skills.
